Instagram Made Us Try It

If you’re a Bachelor fan, then you’ve probably heard of FabFitFun. Before you roll your eyes, hear us out! It’s a pretty sweet deal — and we gave our unique male take on Facebook a couple days ago. (Our friend and editor Ali lent a helping female hand.) If anything, the video is worth watching for the hilarity of dudes trying to figure out what a silicone foundation applicator is.

Unless you’re an Instagram addict, you might not know what we’re talking about. FabFitFun is a seasonal subscription service that sends you a box full of full-sized beauty, fitness, fashion, and lifestyle products worth at least $200. But subscribers only pay $49.99 per box.

The best part? FabFitFun partners with a different nonprofit organization for each box. The Winter 2017 box supported the American Heart Association. So, which box did we try? Since we’re between seasons (FFF’s Winter Box sold out) we tried out the limited-edition Editor’s Box, which allows you to customize some of the products. Here are some of the fun surprises we received during our unboxing:

(L-R) Mer-Sea & Co. Scarf, African Botanics Revitalizing Therapy Gel, and Spongelle Body Buffer

Girl opinion from Ali: If you’re going to indulge in a subscription box, you will get high-quality, on-trend products — from brands like Kate Somerville, Michael Stars, Tarte, and Moroccanoil, for example — from FabFitFun. I’ve tried a LOT of subscription boxes and I actually use and wear FFF stuff. Also, this is an organization of girl bosses supporting great nonprofits so what’s not to love about that?

And really we all know the best part of a subscription box: anticipating its arrival, opening it with no idea what’s inside, and actually loving the products.

The Mahogany Workplace partnered with FabFitFun for this post. And our sponsors help us create quality content for you. Use our code “MWPBLOG” to get $10 off your first box at fabfitfun.com.

I had a friend get a box, and they really are a lot of fun! Lots of stuff to be used by the purchaser, or to give as gifts! She gave me a bkr water bottle, and I use it every day.
