This blog is built on a story — a story from many perspectives and people, sharing their journeys of love and loss, despair and hope, anxiety and joy. This blog is meant to draw you into a world where your story is respected and heard. You may feel alone, but hopefully you feel welcome at The Mahogany Workplace.
I love stories; the truths behind them fascinate me. I adore the art of storytelling, making the process more engaging, dynamic, and alive. People inspire me when they share their journeys and trust me to listen. The vulnerability in expressing our personal stories is magical, spiritual, and almost supernatural. Your life experience is one of the few truths you can fully know. It can give you a perspective only you understand.
The beauty of your journey is that it is not over. It is still forming, and the next page starts now.
Over the last few years I’ve grown to appreciate people more and more. I’ve met people from all of the world. I have a lot in common with some, and others not so much. However, in all circumstances we do share one thing: our stories. I like the act of telling stories, however some of the best ones are seldom told. I created The Mahogany Workplace to tell stories, share opinions, and discuss events that affect our lives.
This blog is a place to share, to express, and to endorse what we care about — family, relationships, personal style, world events, and so much more. I have amazing friends who have stayed beside me through the ups and downs of life… And I want to share them with you.
Some of my closest friends will contribute to this blog. As life moves forward for all of us, it’s hard to find a way to stay closely connected. The Mahogany Workplace is my attempt to keep my friends and I connected, because I love these people and I want them in my life. Who knows, maybe one day you could write for The Mahogany Workplace.
So what’s next? I encourage you to read our stories and share yours. We all have a story; some just aren’t told yet. Welcome to The Mahogany Workplace created by me and inspired by the many friends who you will hear from as we begin this journey together.
